Welcome to Utah Alex

                                                      I know I'm never going to climb mountains, backpack for weeks in the backcountry, or BASE jump off ledges. I'm scared of heights. But I do love the outdoors and exploring places that make Utah the best state in the country (my opinion). As a television journalist in Utah for the past two decades, I have been fortunate to visit almost every corner of this state for work. And for those places work didn't take me, I have made it a point to visit on my own. I have been to every town, city, and county in the state and have found amazing things to see, places to go, and good spots to eat. Often, when you search online for Utah Adventure ideas, you'll find all sorts of amazing things... but many of those things are really big and grand adventures that would keep many of us from doing them. I started this site for the every day regular person. For the rest of us. It's for us weekend warriors who still want to explore and go on adventures in Utah, but maybe don't want to risk our lives doing it, either because we're not as young as we once were, or we tend to favor a hotel or cabin more than a tent these days. Heck, maybe we just want to drive and see some things instead of hiking to them. This site is for you. It's to still have an adventure with family, friends, your dog, or just yourself. We're never too old or too slightly out of shape to just get out there and have fun. Utah is full of things to see and experience and my hope is that this site will give you some ideas. Chances are you'll find plenty of your own adventures along the way. Take your time. Take that dirt road to see where it goes. Order the large fries. Utah is pretty awesome.
